Big thanks to all the Croc's staff (both working and off work) even though they fell into our equipment and called us Jimmy and George. LOVE YA! Cheers to the dude in orange requesting dopeness. Oh and super thanks to the girls who ordered bottle service; excellently made drinks for the DJs.

Killed it again thanks to hardcore drinking and dope hip-hop. We love CROCS!

Last night was super fun! Everybody was dancing and drunk which is pretty much our entire job. Cierra crushed the dance floor along with the b-boys. We kept them rocking and rolling. Peep some of these photos.

Big ups to Brandon for taking a chance with us and Nicole for always killing the bar. We fully enjoy hip-hop and so do they.

The night began in a typical fashion for Amateur Ape, small technical problems. Our friend Serato decided she was nothing but a bitch early on for I.Z. and demanded that reboot while B$ was able to add another faulty turntable to the list of fix-its. Regardless the tunes raged.

B-Money making friendly with guests allowed for an I.Z. hour or two at the opening. Dj Ear Attent hit it late and again dropped his signature 'Bear Necessities' straight rocking the crowd.

R.I.P. Iz's beer mug which he set right next to the sub-woofer. IDIOT :) Thanks to Candyman for the glass clean-up under the Dj table.

Sunday Crocs: Input and Prep School Stopped By

Big thanks to Spence of Hip-hop Congress, Prep School (of Chicago) which includes ol' skool friends Jimi and Naj, Input the suburban herb-love your ass, b-girl Paige, b-boys Dash (Freak With This) , Cosmo, Even (of GWT) and Fate (of GWT).

Thanks to new peeps Adam (who I met long ago thru Carla at Paramount), Tera (lil miss dance shoes), Meisha, Becky and peeps.

Last night was super nice. The weather was more wet than cold and gave the night that shine. Peeps were already there ready to rock when we arrived even on a Sunday. Much love to Larry and Angel, our favorite bartenders always.

Our b-boy family came out in a major way to make moves. Fate gave me his lyrical version of 'Deliverance' by Bubba Sparxxx....hilarious: 'Grab an 8-ball and fly up I-25.' Prep School stopped in on their last and thankfully less dramatic night on tour; we're trying to get these cats to move to the Mile High.

As elusive as a mountain snow cheetah, we actaully saw Input cold rockin' domestics in a booth. We thank him for making the 3-day journey from the suburbs near DIA....love ya!

On a sonic note, the joint has replaced certain blown speakers but should replace certain amps which come and go halfing or doubling the volume at random. The good thing about this is they're aware and are actually working on it.

Glow-ball-dancer vs b-boy...You Can Only Guess Who Won

Tonight some blonde pony-tale male with a drunk lost a b-boy battle in the most miserable way to Ray-ray. Unfortunately he was more than sore and started throwing insults and chest bumps. Like sharks on a guppy, this crew ain't no joke but somehow after a ten minute negotiation the blonde-pony-tale-male left the scene unscaved and yet a beautiful night of hip-hop and 90s hits was concluded.

We are glad no one actually fought and this was the first time in a long time we hand such ridiculousness...silly alcohol.

NOTE: Blond-pony-tale-male also came to the DJ booth prior to his loss and almost dropped his drink on our equipment while trying to hippie-glow-ball-dance battle us. LOL

Aesop Rock Show Was Sold Out!

Thanks to all you cats who were able to come out to Aesop at the Fox last Thursday. It was a crowd of 650+ and Super Nat didn't show. No worries! Your boys Amateur Ape were able to keep the crowd rocking for almost two hours.

Big ups to DJ Big Wiz from Steelworkerz. Awesome show backing Aesop and making a looped beat for his routine.
